Where Can You Go With a Membership Question or Concern?
The staff and management of Powerhouse Gym and Powerhouse Gyms International appreciate your association. We would like to resolve membership questions and/or concerns in the most expedient manner possible. The first essential step to resolving membership questions and/or concerns is to deal directly with the facility in which you want to join or have joined.
It is strongly recommended that the following steps be followed in order to provide an efficient solution to membership issues.
First Step: Staff Member
Questions or concerns regarding membership issues should first be directed to the staff member that you signed up with during a scheduled meeting or via a telephone conversation.
Second Step: General Manager or Facility Manager
If further information is needed or if questions and/or concerns are not resolved at the Membership Director level, a meeting should be scheduled with the General Manager or Facility Manager. In addition, a letter should be mailed to the facility prior to your meeting to the attention of the General Manager or Facility Manager and sent via certified mail (be sure to keep a copy of all correspondences for your records).
Third Step: Gym Owner
If questions still persist after contacting the General Manager or Facility Manager, a meeting should be scheduled with the owner of the facility. In addition, a letter should be mailed to the facility prior to your meeting to the attention of the gym owner and sent via certified mail (be sure to keep a copy of all correspondences for your records).
Fourth Step: Powerhouse Gyms International
Since each facility, although operating under the trade name Powerhouse Gym®, is independently owned and operated, contact with Powerhouse Gyms International is most appropriately made if questions or concerns have not been adequately addressed at the previous levels. Although Powerhouse Gyms International will attempt to assist in resolving all matters, ultimately your follow-up will be with the facility directly. Please be sure to fully explain your membership questions and/or concerns as factually as possible. Be sure to include information about what steps you have undertaken and previous attempts to resolve the issue, what response has been taken on behalf of the facility during each of your attempts to resolve the issue, what actions you would like to see the facility take in an attempt to resolve the issue, photocopies of any and all correspondence provided to the facility and a photocopy of your membership agreement.
IMPORTANT: This four-step process for solving membership questions or concerns has proven effective because it attempts to resolve issues beginning at the most direct levels and allows for the most efficient means of communication and problem resolution.
